ACROPOLIS-REPI Research Seminar
with Prof. Dr. Kristof Titeca (University of Antwerp), Julie Schiltz (Ghent University) and the ACROPOLIS Governance for Development Research Team
The research seminar will consist of presentations and discussion on the refugee crisis response in Uganda with key contributions made by Prof. Dr. Kristof Titeca, lecturer at the Institute of Development Studies (University of Antwerp) and specialist of the governance and conflict dynamics in Central and East Africa; Julie Schiltz, PhD student at Ghent University whose research project focuses on uncertainty in the context of conflict, displacement and encampment, with a specific attention on South Sudanese youth in a refugee setting in northern Uganda; and the researchers from the ACROPOLIS Governance for Development project who have just undertaken a field mission in Uganda to explore the interactions between the different stakeholders in regards to the refugee crisis response.
